What if I receive an IRS audit notice?

Contact the firm promptly, avoid responding on your own until you have spoken with a tax professional, and gather the documents related to the notice. Optimize Accounting Solutions provides IRS audit representation and can communicate with the IRS on your behalf.

How often should I meet with a tax planner?

At least twice a year is a common baseline — once during tax season and once mid-year. Business owners, self-employed clients, and investors often benefit from quarterly reviews, plus check-ins after major life or financial changes.

When should I start tax planning for my business?

As early as possible — ideally when you form the entity. If you are already operating, the next best time is now. Year-round planning covers structure, deductions, cash flow timing, and compliance before year-end surprises.
